The Christian Vachon athletics day, a resounding success!
The school board's athletics day, which took place on May 27 at the University of Sherbrooke stadium, was a great success. The presence of the guest of honour, Sébastien Roulier, ultra-marathoner and resident of Sherbrooke , aroused the enthusiasm of the participants. Sébastien Roulier has, among other things, achieved the feat of climbing Mont Orford 25 times in 24 hours in 2015.
Several events, including the relay race, the 800m and the long jump took place throughout the day, which began with a parade of the school delegations present followed by a large-scale collective warm-up.
CHRISTIAN VACHON PRIZE
For a 3rd year, the Christian-Vachon Prize was awarded to deserving students from each of the 32 delegations present. This award specifically highlights perseverance and is associated with the educational success of students.
