The Christian Vachon Foundation helps only children who attend a foundation partner school. There are two ways to get help from the Christian Vachon Foundation, either by being selected for the entire following school year, or by getting help for an urgent one-time request.
Annual selection of sponsored children
Each year in April, the school team sends families the link to the online form. This form must be completed and sent before the recruitment campaign deadline. The selection takes place in June. A volunteer from the Foundation communicates directly by telephone in June and July with the families selected to inform them of the type of assistance that will be provided to the child as well as the procedure to follow. Families who have not been selected will receive an email or a rejection letter.
One-off request

At any time during the school year, it is possible for a family to make a specific request to the Christian Vachon Foundation for one or more urgent needs for their child(ren). A form is always available at the secretariat of sponsored schools. Upon receipt of a request, the Foundation will communicate with you and the administration of your child's school to inform you of their position regarding your request, within a reasonable time.
